Brian MacMahon
Brian became a partner in 1978 and has worked with the firm ever since. His main focus is commercial conveyancing, acting in major transactions across Northern Ireland, including property acquisitions, leases, development agreements, and business sales. He also has extensive experience in agricultural property and advising on renewable energy options and leases.

Francis Redmond
Francis was a partner in Doris and MacMahon from its incorporation and is now a Director of the Company. Graduating from Queens University Belfast he took up a post with Doris and MacMahon in and has worked continuously with the firm since then.
Francis is well known in Northern Ireland legal circles and a wide client base throughout Mid Ulster and beyond.
He specialises in personal injury compensation and criminal law. He also deals regularly in commercial litigation and clinical negligence cases.

Kevin McElduff
Kevin graduated from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies with distinction and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Northern Ireland in November 2003. Having commenced his training contract with Doris & MacMahon, Solicitors in September 2001 Kevin was appointed as a Director in April 2023.
Kevin has a wide range of experience particularly in family law, including proceedings relating to divorce actions, ancillary relief and children’s law. He also has an expertise in criminal law and personal injury litigation, including road traffic accidents, accidents at work and medical negligence.

Katherine Holland
Katherine graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with First Class Honours in June 2005 and thereafter attended the Institute of Professional Legal Studies to complete her solicitor training where, among other accolades, she was awarded the Thomasena McKinney Prize for attaining first place in the solicitor’s course in 2007.
Between 2005 and 2016 Katherine worked in a busy general practice in Omagh gaining a firm grounding in all areas. In May 2016 Katherine took up her current position in the Conveyancing Department of Doris and MacMahon and was appointed a Director within the firm in April 2023.
She advises both private and commercial clients on all aspects of Property Law. She also assists clients with the drafting of Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Estate Planning. Katherine is also a current member of the Agricultural Law Association.

Roisin Cross
Roisin graduated from QUB in 1984 and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1986. She joined the practice in 1987 and has extensive experience in all aspects of property law including residential, agricultural land and commercial conveyancing/leasing transactions.
She has a vast knowledge in the drafting of Wills, Probate and in the Administration of Estates. She also deals with applications to the Office of Care and Protection to include controllership applications and the drafting of Enduring Powers of Attorney.

Maire MacMahon
Maire advises on a broad range of private client work, to include Wills and the Administration of Estates, preparation and registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney, applications to the Office of Care and Protection and generally the provision of advice on the protection of family assets for the next generation.
Maire can also advise on such supplementary matters such as Deeds of Variation which can have a positive benefit, for example in reducing IHT liabilities. Maire is a member of the Elder Law Group of the Law Society of Northern Ireland.

Jason McLaren
Jason studied and completed his law degree at Queen’ University Belfast. Jason then graduated from The Institute of Professional Legal Studies and was admitted to The Roll of Solicitors in 1996.
Jason’s main areas of practice include all types of litigation including :
- Personal Injury
- Land and Property Disputes
- Commercial Disputes
- Medical Negligence
- Debt Recovery
In addition, Jason has extensive experience in the defence of Criminal cases in both the Magistrates Court and Crown Court

Orla Johnstone
Orla qualified as a Solicitor in 1999. Having trained in a large law firm in Bristol Orla returned to Northern Ireland to take up a post with a leading Belfast firm working in the areas of property and litigation.
Orla worked for a period of time in the Departmental Solicitor’s Office advising government agencies in property matters and subsequently returned to private practice where she now specialises in the area of property law, both residential and commercial. Orla also has a wide experience in many other areas of law, built up over 25 years of practice.
Orla is also a part time tutor at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queens University Belfast on their Property Law and Practice Course. Orla is a keen runner having completed five marathons and has a high competency in the French language having for a time taught in France.

Michael Redmond
Michael has practiced at Doris & MacMahon since he qualified as a Solicitor in 2012.
He represents clients in several areas of law, including Family, Criminal and Litigation. Michael has a great deal of expertise and experience in Divorce, Ancillary Relief and Children’s Order cases, along with criminal matters and personal injury claims.

Rebecca Campbell
Rebecca graduated from Queens University, Belfast with an LLB (Hons) in Law in 2015. In the same year she commenced her training contract with Doris & MacMahon, in conjunction with her studies at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies.
During her training years between 2015 and 2017 Rebecca gained invaluable experience in all areas of general practice. Upon qualifying as a Solicitor in 2017, Rebecca became an official part of the conveyancing team within the office. Her areas of expertise include both residential and commercial sales and purchases, housing and apartment development and property/land related matters.

Christopher Fox
Christopher completed a Law with Politics Degree at Ulster University, graduating in 2011 with Honours.
He completed a Masters Degree in Management & Corporate Governance at Ulster University in 2013 and then worked as a Legal Executive for corporate law firms in Dublin and Belfast.
After briefly leaving the legal profession to work in the construction and engineering sectors, Christopher returned to law to work as a paralegal for a commercial law firm in Belfast where he began his apprenticeship as a Trainee Solicitor in 2020.
He graduated from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queens University with Distinction and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2022.
Christopher joined Doris & MacMahon Solicitors in 2023 and now specialises in all areas of conveyancing, focusing primarily on residential sales and purchases.
